Condolence From: Melissa Cloutier-Marando
Condolence: My condolences to Paul’s siblings. Jillian I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad Paul was a great neighbor and friend. Paul you had a great smile, you would walk by our house with a wave and that smile, which made us feel privileged to be a friend and neighbor. Rest easy now up in Heaven 🙏

Condolence: Memories of Paul bring a smile to my face, his sense of humor was contagious. I worked with Paul years ago at Polyclad and was so sad to see of his passing. I am thinking of his daughter and family at this time of grief.

Condolence: Paul, it does not feel the same walking into work without you. Though we did not know each other long, I miss your smile, cracking jokes back and forth. You could always put a little more positivity in my day no matter how grumpy or "sassy" I was feeling. Sending you a spiritual Snapple wherever you are. Thinking of you daily.

Condolence: My condolences to the family.
I worked with Paul for many, many years at Polyclad.
He sure was a character with a big heart!
I remember how proud he was when Jillian was born.
We had some great memories.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence:
Paul, My friend for only a few short months. We shared many sporting stories especially the Masters Golf Tournament. It was a pleasure to have met you here at BARRDAY. I will miss our conversations and laughter. I hope you're playing shortstop up top and hitting golf balls on the side.

Condolence: PAULIE, I MOVED AWAY SO LONG AGO.
BEFORE I HAD, IT WAS AN HONOR TO KNOW AND COUNT PAUL AS A FRIEND! I WAS THE LUCKY RECEPIENT OF THOSE CELTIC TICKETS. SECOND ROW UNDER THE CEILTICS BASKET. IT WAS A JOY TO COMPETE AGAINST AND PLAY WITH PAUL IN SOFTBALL IN THE GRAFTON MENS SOFTBALL LEAGUE AND ALSO FOR GRAFTON HOUSE IN THE BLACKSTONE VALLEY NIGHT SOFTBALL LEAGUE. WINNING THAT TOURNAMENT IN ELLSWORTH, MAINE AND GOING TO THE WORLD TOURNAMENTAS OUR PRIZE. WE PLAYED IN THE RAIN, YOU HAD TO KEEP PICKING UP YOUR FEET SO YOU WOULD NOT SINK IN THE MUD!
IT WAS ALSO A GREAT PLEASURE TO BE PAUL'S TEAMMATE AT THE WORCESTER COURT CLUB PLAYING WALLYBALL ON THURSDAY NIGHTS IN THE WINTER! SOMEHOW IN THOSE DAYS A NICKNAME OF "CRANSTER" CAME ABOUT! THAT SMILE AND LITTLE CHUCKLE OF LAUGHTER WOULD ENSUE. AT CHRISTMAS ADDRESSING THE CARD PAUL “CRANSTER” ROBAR BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE AND I AM POSITIVE IT DID THE SAME WHEN HE SAW THAT CARD, TOO!
I TRIED HARD TO CONTACT PAUL AND COULD NOT COME UP WITH A NUMBER TO REACH HIM. I ASKED SEVERAL PEOPLE FOR HIS NUMBER. FOR THAT I AM TRULY SORRY! I KNOW HE IS READING THIS AND SHALKING HIS HEAD, SMILING AND CHUCKLING "CRANSTER" YOU WERE SOMEONE I ADMIRED AS A MAN, FRIEND, TEAMMATE AND FATHER. SOUTH GRAFTON PEOPLE ARE LIKE THAT!
MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES ARE WITH YOU AND THE ROBAR FAMILY! OUR GOD MUST HAVE NEEDED AN ANGEL AND ALL-STAR TO PLAY ON HIS BASEBALL/SOFTBALL TEAM. IN MY OPINION IN MY BOOK, HE GOT A HALL OF FAMER!
MAY YOU NOW REST IN PEACE, MY FRIEND!
RESPECTFULLY,

CHUCK MERCIK

Condolence: It is with a heavy heart that I have to say goodbye to my cousin Paul.Sincere condolences to Jillian,Billy,Joanie,Tim, and Tater, extended family members.Paul was named after my Dad and they both were very proud of that.We had so much fun when you came to visit us in Nova Scotia, all the cookouts, parties, slide shows of years gone by, dancing, all of it was so very special, and in later years the long telephone conversations about family, I will treasure those times forever, I remember the year that myself, Faye and Brian, went back to the USA with you and your parents for a week, we had a blast meeting all of your friends and family members, one thing that stands out in my mind is the song Hotel California by the Eagles, blaring through the speaker's at your house, everytime I hear it I always go back to those days.I knew your were not well when I spoke to you the last couple of times, but didn't know we would have to say goodbye so soon. Thanks for all the memories Paul, next time I hear Hotel California will sing it loud just for you.Rest Easy Paul❣️
