I had the pleasure of working with Chuck during the 1980's. My favorite story is when Chuck and his crew were working in the Clinton area and Chuck wanted to give a little party for the boys because the crew was breaking up after that job was done. That afternoon the Clinton Fire Department wascalled to a possible fire ar the station that Chuck and his crew were working from. Up on arriving at the station, all they could find was Chuck grilling some steaks for his men. He greeted the firemen with an invitation to join in the festivities. Rough and gruff on the outside, warm and giving on the inside. Rest in peace, Chuck. Saint Patrick has been waiting for you.
