Deborah Lenz
Let me begin by saying how sad I was to learn of your mom‘s passing.
Tom, Beverly Grandchildren and family....my deepest condolences.❤️
Your mother meant so much to me . She gave me my first nursing job on South 2 in 1986 . She was such a wonderful nurse and mentor to me.
She exemplified what’s a Nurse should be .
As a Nurse manager , she was fair, understanding and compassionate and always said” Your family comes first”
I looked up to her as a brand new nurse... a graduate nurse that she hired assuming that I would pass my boards and hired me to work the
11-7 shift.. With four young children at home when I became an RN,
I wanted to work nights . She asked if I would stay for least a year on nights as nights was hard to keep staff ....I stayed for 10 years.
I never met a more caring ,loving and supportive professional Nurse and Manager than your Mom. Roberta Atchue.❤️ She came into work at 5:30 in the morning to see her night nurses and to offer help if it was needed
and on more than one occasion she helped me well all of us with a late delivery ...
Whether it was it was to help with the mom and baby
Or coming in the delivery room with a mop!
She was there ..we all knew she had our back.
No one has ever come up to par with my first nurse manager
Roberta “Bobby “ Atchue.... I told her at her Retirement what she meant to me.. I wanted you all to know.. She left an imprint on my Heart❤️
Thank you Bobby !
May you rest in peace ❤️😘
