Obituary for
Stanley W. Whynott
Stanley W. Whynott, 86, passed away July 22, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary (Chamberlain) Whynott, his children Sandra Bradish and her husband Richard and Linda "Annie" Goodwin and her husband Arthur, his brother H. Walter Whynot and his wife Bette Ann. Grandchildren Sonya Moore and her husband Nelson, Richard Bradish, Jr., Holly Lynn Bradish-Grieco and her husband John, Kelly Jane Bradish-Schwom and her husband Jacob, Lisa Stuart and her husband Jason and Andrew Kularski and his wife Jenna, his great-grandchildren Samantha, Adam, Evan, Keegan, Keilynn; Finnigan, Benjamin, Deven, Hannah, Haylee, Tyler and Jackson and great-great granddaughter Lillie Grace, his nieces Paula and Diane and his dear friend Milton "Doc" Atchue. His son David Whynott, grandson James David Whynott and nephew Stephen Whynot all predeceased him. Stanley was born July 29, 1929 in Marlborough, MA, son of the late Gertrude (Keith) Whynott and Stanley L. Whynott. His roots were in Grafton where he lived for many years while working at BayState Abrasives in Westborough for 35 years before retiring in 1984. He and Mary moved to Deltona, Florida in 1993 before returning in 2006 to be near their family. Stan treasured his family above all else and also found great joy taking cruises with his wife Mary particularly to Alaska and the Panama Canal. His family would like to express their thanks to his physician, Dr. Michael Galica, the caring staff at Visiting Angels particularly, office manager Dara Prunier and his caregiver Lilian Acquah and the VNA Care Network and Hospice. Please honor Stan with a memorial donation to VNA Care Network and Hospice 120 Thomas St. Worcester, MA 01608. All are invited to gather with Stan's family and friends Monday July 25th from 5pm to 8pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A prayer service will be held Tuesday July 26th at 10:30am at the funeral home. He will then be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery in Marlborough.
