MILLBURY: George L. Sango, 80, passed away October 7, 2023 following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife Sally (Clapp) Sango, his children Maryanne Shanley and her husband Kevin, Katherine Jackson and her husband Lyman, Andrew Sango and Elizabeth Black and her husband Philip, 8 grandchildren, his brother Greg Sango and his wife Linda, his sisters Mary Margaret Junkins and her husband David and Theresa O’Brien and her husband Jack and nieces and nephews.

George was born March 30, 1943, son of the late Ruth and George Sango. His roots were in the Leominster area. He enjoyed sports especially football, as well as, F1 racing and sailing. He loved to learn and was an avid reader.

All are welcome to gather with George’s family and friends Saturday October 21st from 10-11:30am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11:30am in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Please honor George in lieu of flowers with a donation to the charity of your choice.
