GRAFTON: Ramona J. (Rattigan) Collins, 70, passed away September 26, 2023 following complications from cancer. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Paine, her children Paula Barriere and her son Justice, Paul McKenney and his sons Justin and Brian McKenney, her mother Betty Jean Rattigan, her sister Rosetta Shaw, brother Shane Rattigan and great-granddaughter Isabella McKenney. She was predeceased by her brothers John Rattigan III and Damian J. Rattigan and her father John Rattigan.
Ramona was born July 15, 1953 in Chelsea, MA. Her father served in the U.S. Navy so she never called one place home for very long earlier in life. She eventually settled in Massachusetts and home became wherever she and Ken were. They lived in Grafton and spent many happy years there. Ramona treasured the close relationships of her family and dear friends and the simple things in life brought her the most joy.
All are welcome to gather with Ramona’s family and friends Monday October 2, 2023 from 10am-11:30am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11:30am in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton. Those attending services for Ramona are encouraged to dress in bright colors to celebrate her life and the kindness she showed others.
