Condolence From: Alan Rohwer
Condolence: I am leaving a second message here to acknowledge the very moving visiting hours I attended yesterday. I was very moved by the number of my fellow Raytheoners attending the visiting hours. It was not only wonderful to have such a gathering (sorry for the reason) but how it was a tribute to John. It spoke of what amazing person John was and how he touched our lives.

Further condolences to his family and to Melissa, with whom I got to meet and to visit.

Blessings.

Condolence: My wife and I were very sadden to hear about John's death. John and I worked together on numerous project and programs at Raytheon dating back to the early 90's. We were also neighbors in N. Grafton. John was a very competent engineer with a wonderful attitude. He will be missed.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of John’s tragic accident. We worked together at Raytheon for years and I look back with fond memories of his quirky sense of humor around the office. An all around great guy that will surely be missed. My sincerest condolences to to John’s family and friends.

Condolence From: Carl and Cindy Baxter
Condolence: John came into our lives through our sister Missy and quickly became a dear friend and a part of our family. We loved him for his can-do attitude, his analytical engineer’s eyes, his big kind heart, his quirky sense of humor and his forever young spirit. He set the bar high for how to make the most of your retirement and we are sure he had flowsheets for miles paddled and runs skied. No rocking chair regrets for John. But most of all we loved him for the companionship, happiness and love that he gave Missy.

We had some great times together but there were supposed to be many more. To all his friends and family, we share deeply your loss.

Condolence From: Tim Mackie
Condolence: I did not know John but I would like to express my condolences on behalf of all the Senior skiers at Wachusett. There are quite a number of us that ski regularly during the week. We look out for each other on the slopes. When the unfortunate event happened, it was skiers on the lift that called 911 and informed the Ski Patrol. The Ski Patrol reacted quickly and did all they could to help. It was a sad day in the Lodge. Our thoughts are with John's family and friends. God rest his soul.

Condolence: Very sorry to hear of John's tragic accident. He was always active. I remember the days of him filling shotgun shells with silica rocks and firing them at our test article in the bunker at Raytheon Lowell back in the early 80's. Great sense of humor and always passionate about anything he was interested in. May he be at peace with the Lord.

Condolence: Rest in Peace, John.
You were taken too soon. I will be watching for your kayak light in the harbor.
We shared many years, on the job together, with many laughs thanks to your great sense of humor.
We will always remember you.
