Obituary for Stanley Wilen

Stanley A. Wilen, 87, long time resident of Westwood, son of Pearl and Arthur Wilen, passed away on March 12. He was pre-deceased by Gail, his beloved wife of 18 years. Stan will be greatly missed by his children, Wendy and her husband Scott MacDonald, Heidi and her husband Keith Lomenzo, Andrew and his wife Sybil, and his stepdaughters Beverly and her husband James Davey, and Debra Sheeran. He was a loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind
His sister Ruth Radigan and her children Carol and Keith.
Stan served as Airman First Class in Air Force Research and Development Command. He was employed by Raytheon Company in Bedford as a design and test engineer until he retired. Stan also enjoyed his Scandinavian heritage through dancing, music, active involvement in the Aquilo Club, and his volunteer work on the board of the Scandinavian Living Center where he made his final home.All are welcome to a celebration of life at The Scandinavian Living Center in West Newton on April 10 at 1:30 and a graveside service at Saint Philips Cemetery on Millbury Street in Grafton on April 17 at 2:00. Donations may be made in his memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org and to the Scandinavian Living Center at www.slcenter.org
