Obituary for Keith Arnold

GRAFTON: Keith Arnold, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 65 on Thursday February 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with Cancer. He was born July 13, 1957 in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Grafton, Massachusetts, Son of Sydney and Aubrey (Rose) Arnold. Keith was married to his high school sweetheart, Kathy Arnold (Millen), for 45 years. Keith was a devoted family man, survived by his son Keith, daughter Sheryl and her husband Ryan Anderson (Oxford) and their children Brooke, Bryanna, Alyssa-Rae, Justine as well as Keith's younger daughter Susan and her partner Michael, and her children DJ and Logan. He also leaves behind his brother Terrance and his wife Linda (Sturgis) of South Dakota as well as several nieces and nephews and some great nieces and nephews. .

Keith was a hard-working man, graduating from Grafton High School in 1976 and Rhode Island Trade Shops in 1977. He worked as a mechanic at local dealerships and for the town of Grafton DPW. He took pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues and customers alike.

In his spare time, Keith loved being outdoors. His passion for animals and gardening was evident to anyone who visited his home. He was a member of the Massachusetts Beach Buggy Association and enjoyed camping and surf casting on Sandy Neck Beach. Keith also volunteered as the assistant troop leader for Boy Scout Troop 112, where he mentored and inspired many young boys to become responsible and caring adults. Keith also was a member of the Delisle Goulet American Legion Post 92 in Grafton.

Keith will be remembered for his kind heart, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering devotion to his family and friends. In the words of Pink Floyd, "The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older, shorter of breath, and one day closer to death." Keith may have left this world, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. All are welcome to gather with Keith's family and friends Friday March 3rd at 3:15pm for a prayer service followed by calling hours from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. He will be laid to rest at 2pm Saturday March 4 at Riverside Cemetery in Grafton.
