Obituary for George A. DeWolfe Jr.

Millbury – "It is with heavy hearts that the family of George A DeWolfe Jr. announces his passing on February 21st, 2023 from bial duct cancer. George was 68 years old at the time of his death. He grew up in North
Grafton and had lived in Millbury for the last 38 years.
George was a veteran of the US Air Force. After his military service, he worked at Baystate
Abrasives/Tyrolit in Westborough, MA for 29 years before joining the United States Postal Distribution
Center night shift. He retired from the USPS in 2021 after 20 years of service.

George is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kay E (Rand) DeWolfe of Millbury, MA. Together, they shared
many years of love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever. He leaves behind his
daughter, Kimberly Amato, and son-in-law, Thomas Amato, of Tomball, TX, and his son, David DeWolfe,
and daughter-in-law, Tabitha Rennie-DeWolfe, of Shrewsbury, MA. He is also survived by his two sisters,
Roberta A Marsden of Uxbridge, MA, and Patricia A. Cimochowski of N. Grafton, MA. The joy of his life
was his two grandsons, Lucas Amato and Dutch DeWolfe.

George was predeceased by his parents, George A DeWolfe Sr. and Roberta DeWolfe; and a sister, Lois
Woodwill. He was member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3565. He will be missed by the entire
Rand family as a brother-in-law, Uncle Wolfie and great-uncle.

One of George's greatest pleasures in life was spending time with his family, especially at their summer
home in Biddeford Pool, Maine. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved, cherishing the
moments spent in this special place. George also loved fishing the local ponds and streams of central
MA.

A remembrance celebration will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at La Cucina Italiana on 1393
Grafton St, Worcester, MA from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A private graveside service will be held later in the
year at Vernon Grove Cemetery, Milford, MA.
