FITCHBURG/GRAFTON: Nina (Hayden) Genatossio, 68, passed away peacefully at home February 7, 2023 following a lengthy illness. She leaves her husband Carl Genatossio and her son Thomas Genatossio. She was predeceased by her brother Max Hayden Jr. and sister Mary Baker.
Nina was born December 2, 1954 in Holden, MA, daughter of the late Irene (Keith) and Max Hayden Sr. Nina’s roots were in Grafton but she called many places home including Newton, Easton and Attleboro, MA and then Vancouver, Canada and Chicago before returning to Massachusetts where they lived in Holden and eventually Fitchburg.
Nina worked in the mechanical drafting field years ago until her son Thomas was born. She spent many years at home raising Thomas and had a creative flair for playing guitar and home decor, enjoyed putting her hands in the dirt tending to her garden. She also looked forward to spending time with her circle of friends and early Summertime on Martha’s Vineyard with her husband.
