GRAFTON: Anne Marie (Caplette) Proctor, 63, passed away February 10, 2023 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She leaves her loving husband of 36 years, Daniel Proctor, her sister-in-law Susan Merchant, her cousins Mike Baker, Alane Baker, Susan and Rick Kozlozski, Kathy Charzenski, James and Chris Charzenski, Henry, Daniel and Linn Szosiek, Lorri and Richard Newton, and Irene Grinnell. She also leaves a loving circle of friends; Janet and Will Moore, Doug and Eileen Brackett, Jane Rizzitano, Dave Thacker, Dian O’Packi, LaurLee Varney and Arthur and Carroll Surabian. She was predeceased by her sister Camille Caplette.
Anne was born July 1, 1959 in Worcester, daughter of the late Regina (Charzenski) and Felix Caplette. She was a graduate of Grafton High School where she drew career inspiration from her beloved Art Teacher Mr. Dodd and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Rhode Island School of Design (R.I.S.D.) with a Major in Illustration and also earned certification in Graphic Design from Clark University. She embarked on a career in the field of Graphic Design for 22 years, many of them at Surabian.
Away from work if you knew Anne you were likely to find her at the stables, taking care of her beloved horse “Holly” where she loved spending many hours or closer to her home with her cats “Tia”, “Strauss” or many others over the years.
Her family extends its heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Rose Monahan Hospice Home, her Oncology team which included Dr. Hachandani, Dr. Murphy and RN Courtney Lyon whom Anne loved.
All are welcome to gather with Anne’s family and friends Wednesday February 15th from 9-10:30am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Philip’s Church on West St. in Grafton. She will then be laid to rest at St. Phillip’s Cemetery in Grafton.
