Just found out/confirmed today that our very first friend/next-door neighbor in Grafton, Dick passed in early December. When we moved to Hudson Ave almost 12 years ago...Dick was the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood. We would often meet over that "green" fence to discuss our gardens....our dogs.....and a few years later "Jackson", who we loved giving "Milk Bones" to. Dick and I had much in common. I moved out to "The Country" (Grafton)....from Metro West after a difficult time with Lymphoma. Dick shared his experiences going through Lung Cancer. I was so grateful for his honesty, sense of humor and his determination. His strength in relation to his illness....gave me hope. Life is so short. Friends sadly...come and go. But a neighbor like Dick Cole......stays with us.......Thank you Dick !! Jim and Gregg Hudson Ave. You will be missed.........

Dear Alice, so sorry to hear that you have lost your best friend and partner, and that Becky has lost the best coach she ever had. It was really great to spend springs and summers with you when the girls were young. Your family gave so much to the girls in Grafton for so many years. Thank you for keeping score.

My deepest condolences to all Dicks family and friends. He will be dearly missed. May he now breathe effortlessly and continue to watch over his family as he always has. Rest in peace until we meet again Dick.
