Condolence: Nipper & Robin,
I worked with your mother at Hahnemann for years. She graduated the year before me. I never heard her complain or raise her voice. She was one of the kindest people I’ve known. Spoke with her a few years ago and was so sad to read of her passing. My sympathies to her entire family. I was in your parents wedding and my sister Darlene worked at your pediatrician’s office.
Fondly

Condolence: I worked as an RN with Helen at Hahnemann Hospital for many years and then reconnected with her at The Great Brook Valley Health Care Center (now known as The Edward Kennedy Center) when I was supervising Nursing students there. We share our Polish heritage. She was always a pleasure to work with. May her family be comforted in knowing that she touched many lives throughout her career.
Sincere sympathy,
Gail (Linkevich) Kustigian

Condolence: I've already posted my condolences for my sister but want to share a funny situation that wasn't meant to scare our parents. Helen came to visit me one weekend in Sandwich, MA. Friday nite I had to work at the original Daniel Webster Inn so Helen went to the night club behind the Inn to hear the band. When I got off work, I went out there to join her. When the club closed the drummer in the band and a friend invited us out to breakfast in Buzzards Bay. Then the rest asked us to leave as they were closing. So the drummer and friend decide to flip a coin to see if we should go to New York City...off we go to NYC. Remember, this is Sat morning and the drummer and I had to work Sat nite. I wore contacts so we bought paper cups to soak contacts while I tried to get some sleep. We decided to send out mom a postcard saying, " we are in NYC, in jail, need bail"...we get back to Sandwich in time for me and drummer to get to work, sister goes to sleep. Sun my sister heads back to Worcester and I get sleep. Mon morning I thought I'd better call mom and let her know she will get a postcard saying we were in jail and needed bail and that it was a joke. Mom told me Helen had already called her to let her know.... don't know if any of our siblings knew about this so it out there now..........no more shenanigans , going to miss you forever, Helen, all my love, your baby sister..wanda

Condolence From: Wanda Szymkiewicz Crabtree
Condolence: My heart is broken, my beautiful, kind and loving sister has left a void in our lives in her passing. As kids she always had really curly hair and mine was so straight that she would try to mess it up and it would always fall back into place. We grew up in the hills of Bradford, NH and would take many hikes in the woods following the different streams, walk into town, about four miles, even found a stray cat and brought her home and named her "Orphie ". We babysat some of the same families when available. I moved to Cape Cod and she would come to visit many times, that's how she met her late husband, Galen, he was mananger of a Country and Western band that played at the night club behind the original Danial Webster Inn in Sandwich, MA.where I worked and lived in the attic until it burned down. Helen, I thank God you didn't suffer, you are now with Galen A/K/A " Moose ". Fly with the angels dear sister, all my love....Wanda Szymkiewicz Crabtree
