Clarke was a friend and teammate (baseball & football) of mine during our high school years. He was a genuinely nice guy and someone we all looked up to. Only saw him a handful of times after that but we kept in touch through common friends. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace my friend. I couldn't post a picture, but here is a link to a picture of a young Clarke Alderman with that infectious smile. So very sorry for this family. I knew Cheryl from our time with the Kennedy Family of Kennedy Die Castings. Cheryl was the kindest and warmest person who always spoke so highly of her husband and family. Cheryl and I were additionally struggling through senior care of parents while being wives, mothers , and career women. I cherished my friendship with Cheryl and have thought often of her and her family since her passing. The world was a better place for Cheryl and Clarke having been in it. RIP

50 years ago last month, I stepped foot on the grounds of what was then Assumption College as a freshman, a long way from my home in Prospect, CT. I met another freshman, Clark Alderman, who ironically was from Connecticut! We lived on the same dorm floor and shared so much laughter and good times and a commraderie that was everlasting. Eventhough I transferred 3 years later Clark always reached out and our classmate, Chris Froelich, would always ensure that we all got together year after year to reminisce and share the past, talk about the present, and hoped for a great future. I'm so grateful that again, this past August we reunited and celebrated our 50th year of friendship. My dearest friend will always be remembered and surely missed. My tears are of joy knowing that I can truly call Clarke, my best friend. My sincerest condolences to Liz and Kara and the rest of the Alderman family.

Clarke was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He was kind, gentle, generous, and caring. The world is a lesser place in his absence.
