Obituary for Carl A. Erickson
GRAFTON: Carl A. Erickson, 90, of South Grafton, died May 17, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He leaves his son and best friend Michael D. Erickson of South Grafton. Carl was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy of 47 years in 1999, and his two brothers Albert R. Erickson, Jr. and Alden F. Erickson. He was the son of the late Albert and Edna (Flint) Erickson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his dear friend Lorraine Mataliano.
Carl owned and operated Erickson Woodworking Co. since 1955 and then Erickson Hardware Co. fropm 1964 until present. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was born in Marlborough and grew up and was educated in Shrewsbury. Carl was a long time member of the Grafton Zoning Board and the Building Code Board of Appeals.
He was also a member of the American Legion Post 92 since 1955.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
