GRAFTON- Teresa D. (Silva) Rojas, 87, of Grafton, died at AdviniaCare on May 15, 2022. She was the wife of the late Rene O. Rojas.

Born August 30, 1934, in Chile, a daughter of the late Samuel and Olga (Sanhueza) Silva, she lived in Grafton for the past 25 years. She moved to the United States in 1971 from Santiago, Chile.

Teresa was a Special Education teacher in the Framingham school district for 34 years before retiring in 2013. She was previously employed at Escuela de Barnechea in Barnechea, Chile. She was a brilliant, adventurous, and kind woman who remained active through travel, volunteer work, and various hobbies until health problems slowed her down in recent years.

She is survived by a son, Rene M. Rojas of Oxford, Ma; a daughter, Ruth M. Funk and her husband Glenn of Grafton, Ma; and three granddaughters-Heather, Kelly, and Melissa.

Her funeral will be held Friday May 20 at 11:00am with a viewing prior from 9:30 - 11:00am at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St, North Grafton, Ma. Masks will be required for all those attending services. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Rd, Bellingham, Ma.
