Condolence: Although we’ve been out of touch for quite a few years, I feel as if I’ve known Carol forever. Her sons were students of mine so I first met her as a teacher and when she joined the middle school faculty we reconnected and became friends. I was reminiscing about her with a mutual friend after learning of her passing and we were commenting on the fact that Carol was one of the sweetest people we knew. I can’t recall her saying an unkind word about anyone. The last time I saw her was the day she learned that she needed dialysis and she seemed to be taking the news in stride, smiling as always and asking about my family. I was saddened and surprised to hear of her passing…I will always remember her, impeccably dressed, beautifully coiffed, and smiling that beautiful smile. My condolences to her sons and their families. She was so proud of her” boys” and loved sharing stories of their families. Ken and I pray that she is finally at peace.

Condolence: I have volunteered with Carol on Tuesdays at Milford Hospital for several years. I always loved watching her doing her crossword puzzles and asking us to save the paper for her. She fell one day and hurt her knees. I went down to the ED to see if she was okay and she was mortified to be on a gurney. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. RIP Carol. Your husband is waiting for you with open arms. 🙏🏻
