Condolence: Happy birthday in heaven Gordon.

Condolence: Gordon was a good friend of mine. We were both in the Coast Guard and enjoyed reminiscing about our escapades and had many laughs. He looked forward to coming over for supper and Lorna enjoyed cooking large meals for us.

When I became an officer, Gordon made sure that he never saluted me! I never did get him to salute.

We are really going to miss him and want his family to know that we cherished his friendship.

Condolence: I was so shocked to hear about Gordon. Way too young, way too soon. Gordon and I worked together many years ago. When I think of him, the words that come to mind are kind and patient. Gordon was one of the good ones, someone you loved to have on your team. Considerate, conscientious, thorough.... he was all of that and so much more. I wanted to cry when I read his obituary, and I had a dream about him that night.

Gordon was sitting at a table next to his mother and there were all these other people around them I did not know. Not a kitchen table, more like a meeting room. This was business. That's all I remember. When I woke up, I found myself smiling because this was classic Gordon,
Mr. Involved. Wherever he is, I know he is doing well and probably running the whole show. If there is a Board of Directors up there, Gordon's on it.

To Gordon's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. The world has lost a wonderful guy. RIP my friend, may your memory be eternal.
