Obituary for Thomas P. Catino

WORCESTER: Thomas P. Catino, 44, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep October 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Nancy (Lee) Catino, his adoring children Ariana and Kieran Catino, his parents-in-law, Jeffrey and Patricia Lee, his sisters-in-law Karen and Christina Lee, several siblings, nieces and nephews, and his dear friend Gianni Troiano. He is predeceased by his parents, Emilio and Marilyn Catino. Tom was born June 29, 1977 in Worcester and his roots were in Holden where he grew up. Shortly after high school he began his dedicated service to his country by joining the United States Army National Guard, where he specialized in water purification as part of the 125th Quartermaster Company. He served tours in Iraq and Haiti. Closer to home he was known for his hardworking hands as he learned the trade of plastering which was his work for several years and if something was broken or needed adjusting he was the one to ask for help. Tom could be found spending time on the golf course, but he was most happy to be at home with his family, who he would say were his pride and joy. Tom enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, gaming, and watching the Boston Bruins. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Funeral services and burial for Tom were held privately at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, please remember Tom with a donation to Bay State Savings Bank ℅ Grafton Street Office 799 Grafton St. Worcester MA 01604, Attn: Thomas P. Catino Fund. A Book of Memories to share a special message with his family is available online at:
