Obituary for Erica M. Lara

MILLBURY: Erica (Marie) Lara, 29, of Worcester, passed away on June 29, 2021. Erie, E, or Punkie as she was affectionately known, is survived by her two daughters Hailey and Emily, her nephew Cameron, her mother Sherry Lavimodiere, step father Michael Lavimodiere, and her father Stephen Lara. She leaves behind her only lifetime partner in crime and sister, Jessi, loving grandparents Janet and Robert Gentile, many crazy aunts and uncles, countless cousins and an overwhelming number of friends. Erica was known for her huge heart and bubbly personality. Erica was loving, caring, and would give the world to anyone who needed it, even when she didn’t have anything herself to give. Erica took pride in her job at Sunrise where she aided others in their struggles. Erica was adored by many people, and the amount of love and outreach the family has received has been astronomical. Erica did not have an easy life and she fought many demons, but she remained strong and gave it her all through every obstacle. Erica always did her best to be a good daughter, a good sister, a good mother, and a good friend. Erica will always be remembered for her love of giraffes, Wizard of Oz, funny memes, and tacos. There are no words to express how much Erica will be missed by so many. All are welcome to calling hours for Erica Friday July 16th from 5pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536.
“And remember my humble friend, a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others.” –The Wizard of Oz
