GRAFTON: David J. Bernier, 69, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021 in UMass Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Linda (Anderson) Bernier.
Born in Worcester, David was the 11th child of the "Yours, Mine and Ours" family to Albert and Aurora Bernier of Millbury.
He leaves a sister, Helena Gagne of Worcester, two godsons, Joseph A. Auger of Worcester and Joseph M. Sena and his wife Rebecca and their 5 sons. Dave also leaves many nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by siblings; Claire Auger, Ernest Auger, Albert, Roger and Roland Bernier, Florence Castonguay, Jeannette Cofsky, Theresa Knight and Yvette Vancillette. David retired from Lowell Corporation in West Boylston in 2013.
David so loved his pets Micky, Ziggy, Barney, Mia and Minnie. He asks you to donate to the Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden St. Worcester, MA 01606 in lieu of flowers.
All are welcome to a calling hour for Dave Tuesday July 13th from 10am-11am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11am in the funeral home. He will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
