SUDBURY/GRAFTON: Doris S. (Smith) Nilo, 95, passed away peacefully May 21, 2021 at home with her adoring family close by her. Her husband of 53 years, Salvatore “Terry” Nilo predeceased her. She leaves her children Sandra Boucini and her husband Steven, Terry Nilo and his wife Normajean, Robert Nilo and her former daughter-in-law Renee, her grandchildren Amanda, Bobby, Kayla, Ty, Samantha and Anthony, her siblings Gordon, Harold and Robert Smith and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son Mark Nilo and her siblings Dwight, Thomas, and Donald Smith and Jeanne Weaver. Doris was born May 1, 1926 in Allentown, PA and her roots were in Richmond, VA. She and her husband Terry lived for several years in Manhattan and upstate New York before relocating to Sudbury which they called home for 40 years. Doris worked in tandem with her husband Terry at TSP International where their business opportunities had them traveling across the globe together for many years. Closer to home Doris prized being “Grandma” above all else and adored her family. A Memorial service will be planned for Doris at a later date.
