Obituary for Barbara E. Crossin

GRAFTON: Barbara Crossin (O'Donnell) of Worcester, formerly of Grafton, MA, died peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 83.

Barbara leaves her loving husband of 56 years James Crossin Sr. and sons James Jr. of Holland, and Daniel and his wife Amy of Grafton, and her beloved granddaughters Megan of Holden, and Emily and Erin of Grafton.

Born in Worcester, MA in 1937, Barbara was the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (McCarthy) O'Donnell. Barbara graduated from Commerce High School in 1955. She had a career as a bookkeeper, holding positions at several area institutions including the Treasurer’s Office of Worcester City Hall and The Medical Institute at Worcester City Hospital.

In 1968, she and her family moved to Grafton where she was an active member of the Grafton and St. Mary's Parish Women's Clubs and the Grafton PTA.

In her free time, she enjoyed painting, arts & crafts, vacationing in Hampton, NH, traveling to Ireland, Italy, and Aruba with her husband, and spending time with her devoted friends and family.

All are welcome to gather with Barbara’s family and friends Wednesday February 10th from 9-10:30am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines observed.
