Condolence: Condolences to all who were touched by Gloria. I was already married to her 6th, and youngest child when I met Gloria. I was a young west coast interloper , and nervous about how she would welcome me to the family. My fears were for not. Gloria always made me feel like a beloved and valuable member. She made time to talk and listen (after the dishes, and while doing laundry, likely mine) but being very active was so important to how she thrived as she aged and surely the reason she maintained her health as well as she did. She wasn’t easy to keep up with and on one of her west coast trips she practically ran through Muir Woods leaving the rest of us in the dust.Gloria told me and others she always wished she got to finish school. I wish there were better avenues available to her in the “old” days: However she earned an honorary Degree in my book, staying curious her whole life, working into her 80’s, traveling, reading , doing the daily word jumble , and being a serious card shark were the way she earned credit, but it was learning her new Pakistani neighbors names by writing them and practicing. being excited to share the news her wonderful new friends was what most convinced Gloria was most worthy. Her laugh was the one of a woman who has lived a life full and knows you need to enjoy the small moments of fun as well as the big moments of love. The last time I saw her was in June of 2019 at her Our nephew her grandsons wedding. She was bright and full of smiles and love. It was a joyous occasion and she was taking it all in. Enjoying those big moments Of love with the family she was committed to lead.I am especially glad we got to share that with her. I can attest to the fact she was a Gloria was Great Mother In Law. I will miss her very much. ❤️ Jess

I have so may wonderful memories of my time spent with this caring, sincere, and well humored woman that I worked with for 28 years at the restaurant; and had the privilege of calling Aunt Gloria within the family.
