AUBURN: Richard L. Matson, 68, passed away August 27, 2020 at UMass Memorial Healthcare following an illness. He is survived by his daughter Brandi Laplant and her husband John, his sister Judith Malatesta and her fiance Kerry Greer, his brothers Daniel Matson, Thomas Matson and his wife Beth, 5 grandchildren and 1 niece. He was born August 8, 1952 in Worcester and was a USAF veteran of the Vietnam War. Funeral services and burial will be private.
