Condolences

Condolence From: Janice Lerch
Condolence: Thirty years ago, we were blessed to be introduced to Marty, Grandma Jessie and their family at Hilltop Preschool. Marty was always welcoming, warm and caring towards the children and their parents. When Christmas arrived, her generosity knew no bounds. We still have two beautiful sweaters she gave our daughters, Kristina and Julia. We treasure pictures of Marty and her students graduating from preschool and swimming in her pool. Marty valued education and taught lesson plans that far exceeded our expectations. We are so sorry to hear of Marty's passing, extended our condolences to her family, and hope they find comfort in knowing how much Marty enriched other lives by sharing her love. Fondly, The Lerch family - Janice, Brent, Kristina and Julia

Condolence: I knew Marty professionally for nearly two decades. She ran a wonderful non-profit agency that supported family child care providers participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program helping them serve healthy meals to primarily low income children. If you knew nothing more than this about her you'd know what a loving, kind, hard working person she was. Marty was envied for her style, grace and beauty but she never hesitated to fight for what's right or for those without a voice. Marty, you will be missed by all whose lives you've touched.

Condolence: She gave of herself always. Marty was the best child care provider at her own Hilltop Preschool that I have ever seen!!! No one could compare to her and Grandma Jesse!!! I was able to work knowing Michael was very well taken care of. She introduced all the little munchkins to art, theatre and so much more. A positive role model!! I am so sorry she has passed and extend to the family my sincerest condolences....
