So sorry to hear about Mike, my deepest condolences to his family and many friends. He was the big brother I never had back in the late 80's and early 90's. Most generous, kind-hearted man and a great friend.

I was so saddened and shocked to hear about Michael's passing. He was a great friend and I have wonderful memories growing up together. My deepest condolences and prayers extend to his wife and the entire Haggerty family.

I have been trying to put together words to share about Mike for a couple of days now. He has had such an impact on my life that it is really hard to be succinct. But I will try.

I was first introduced to Mike almost 30 years ago and since that time he has been a true friend. He was all the things that make a good friend and a good person: generous, thoughtful, loyal, just fun to be around. He felt like big brother.

About 20 years ago I had the opportunity to start working for Mike. He played a huge part in helping me shift careers. He was not only a friend but now a mentor. Through our professional relationship he shared so much advice, was so supportive, and opened a lot of doors for me. I would not be where I am now without him.

I can truly say Mike changed the course of my life and made it better for being a part of it as I think he did for a lot of people. He will be sorely missed.
