Condolence: I have been trying to put together words to share about Mike for a couple of days now. He has had such an impact on my life that it is really hard to be succinct. But I will try. I was first introduced to Mike almost 30 years ago and since that time he has been a true friend. He was all the things that make a good friend and a good person: generous, thoughtful, loyal, just fun to be around. He felt like big brother. About 20 years ago I had the opportunity to start working for Mike. He played a huge part in helping me shift careers. He was not only a friend but now a mentor. Through our professional relationship he shared so much advice, was so supportive, and opened a lot of doors for me. I would not be where I am now without him. I can truly say Mike changed the course of my life and made it better for being a part of it as I think he did for a lot of people. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Sue, all his family and his many friends.

Condolence: It's still a huge shock to me, I was speaking to him on a daily basis. We got along well, he and I tended to approach problem solving the same way. He was a mentor to me for the past 9 months, I have always admired his patience, kindness and willingness to go out of his way to work with me when solving a problem. I looked up to Mike, he has been an important figure in my life for some time now. With a heavy heart I say farewell. Rest in peace Mike, you will be sorely missed.

Condolence: Mike is one of the few ‘truly great beings’. Many call him ‘Big Mike’, but not because of his commanding stature...the so many people who love him know that ‘Big’ referred to the muscle that worked lovingly beneath his ribs. I love you Mike. - Peter
