Condolence: I have been trying to put together words to share about Mike for a couple of days now. He has had such an impact on my life that it is really hard to be succinct. But I will try.
I was first introduced to Mike almost 30 years ago and since that time he has been a true friend. He was all the things that make a good friend and a good person: generous, thoughtful, loyal, just fun to be around. He felt like big brother.
About 20 years ago I had the opportunity to start working for Mike. He played a huge part in helping me shift careers. He was not only a friend but now a mentor. Through our professional relationship he shared so much advice, was so supportive, and opened a lot of doors for me. I would not be where I am now without him.
I can truly say Mike changed the course of my life and made it better for being a part of it as I think he did for a lot of people. He will be sorely missed.
My deepest condolences to Sue, all his family and his many friends.

Condolence: It's still a huge shock to me, I was speaking to him on a daily basis. We got along well, he and I tended to approach problem solving the same way. He was a mentor to me for the past 9 months, I have always admired his patience, kindness and willingness to go out of his way to work with me when solving a problem. I looked up to Mike, he has been an important figure in my life for some time now.
With a heavy heart I say farewell. Rest in peace Mike, you will be sorely missed.
