Condolence: Joan and I met when my puppy literally dragged me up into her yard. She invited us in, and while Louie and Sterling tore up the yard (sorry, Ray), Joan and I chatted.... for hours. We would hang on to the swing set for dear life while the dogs raced back and forth with endless energy. Sometimes one of us would get knocked down -- mostly her, I admit -- and she would always laugh. Nothing was so serious she couldn't laugh about it. She could talk, but she was also a great listener. I feel privileged to have known her. Rest in peace, Joan. And let God get a word in edgewise now and then.

Condolence: Ray & Nicole, There are no words right now to take away the heartache. She went through more suffering than I thought was humanly possible. Her giving heart has opened many roses in Heaven. Keep all the special memories close and remember them often. They will comfort you throughout your most difficult times. Thinking of you and praying for your peace.
