Condolences

Condolence From: Ron and Rosalind Dennis
Condolence: I really have only known Mary for about the last seven years, but during that brief time we became very good friends for each other. On many occasions my wife Rosalind or I drove Mary to medical appointments she had for herself or “Black-Night” and we always enjoyed each others conversations. Mary was a beautiful person in every respect. Her obituary says it all, especially the comment; “ Her commitment to always do her best inspired others to emulate her”. My wife said her Aunts and Uncle’s of the Fleming family from Grafton Center often said, “Mary is a living Saint among us”. Mary was soft spoken, but her words were very powerful and carefully chosen. I can’t imagine she disliked anyone, she seemed to always have something good to say about everyone we talked about.

Condolence: Mary O'Hara was my English teacher senior year at Shrewsbury High School in 1967. When she encouraged us to develop our vocabularies, I started a vocabulary notebook, and 52 years and many notebooks later, I am still working on my vocabulary. It is her legacy to me.--Rockie Blunt

Condolence From: Deb Dauley
Condolence: What a beautifully written obituary for a truly, lovely lady, who was so caring and accomplished. I remember when Mary took care of Rory and Owen after school and always enjoyed our conversations. Mary just exuded kindness and was always asking about others. I am glad to have known Mary and send my sincerest condolences to all of her family. I know Mary touched a lot more lives than she realized.
