Condolence: My big brother Leo was my hero. I was the youngest sibling. I remember running to chase the school bus as it was delivering him back home after the school day screaming his name, "LeoLeoLeoLeoLeoLeo" until it didn't sound like words anymore. I'd see him get off the bus and walked proudly back to the house with him. I can still picture him rolling his eyes at this adulation that he didn't really know what to do with. He was a quiet gentle man, a brilliant man, and a man that believed in family first. He adored his wife, Mary, his children, Kenny, Maura, and Kristen, his grandsons Liam and Owen, and Kenny' s wife Liz and Maura 's husband Steve.

Leo's kids shared his familial love. His three children have tattooed on their bodies in Gaelic "Family above all else," around a Gaelic symbol.

Leo had a quirky sense of humor, and a love of challenges to his enormous intellect. To finish his life working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab had to be the cherry on top of his sundae. I guess we could rightly proclaim he was a rocket scientist.

Big brother, save me a place up there please. I'll sing a Beatles song or two at karaoke for you. But no one will sing Neil Diamond like you did!

I miss you. And, hey, who's going to fix my computer now?

I love you, Brother.

Condolence: My brother lived a full life leaving behind a strong family full of love and support for one another. I could see the love that his family shared and the marvel of his sense of humor which I didn’t notice all that much while he was here. He was a fun and funny guy who could make me feel loved with a hug and a smile. He got to travel, to do a job he loved and was good at, to become a grampy and enjoy his grandkids. He got to see each of his children launch into successful adults with wonderful supportive partners in life. His was a full life and because he lived it so well, he will be sorely missed but all will go on grateful to have been part of that life.
I love you, big brother!

Condolence From: Juan Asorey
Condolence: Dear Mrs. Mary and family,

Please accept our most sincere condolences on this difficult time. I share your loss as Leo and I worked together day by day, hour by hour for the last seven months at NASA/JPL. It is hard to sit down to work without being able to share the good and bad, the laughter and worries. Leo was a doer with an always positive attitude. He did not get distracted by politics or gossip and that earned him the love and respect of his teammates. His work was important and he always executed promptly. We miss him very much and are very sad we could not enjoy him longer. We hope he is resting peacefully on a better place now.
Please feel free to call me if you ever need anything I could assist with.

Best regards to you and rest of the family.
