Obituary for Robert Judson

Sutton- Robert “Bob” B. Judson, 81 passed peacefully on December 7 after a period of declining health. Bob was born in Sutton on August 31, 1937. He was the husband of Jean C. (Reiman) Judson with whom he shared 58 wonderful years.
A lifelong resident of Sutton, son of William B. Judson and Janet A. (Balfour) Judson. He attended Sutton Schools and Worcester Junior College.
He is survived by his loving children, Lori Hatfield of Douglas, MA, Shelley Gorman of Sutton, MA and Robert Judson, Jr. and his wife Debra of Sutton, MA; grandchildren, Jessica Gorman, Dylan Hatfield, Luke, Benjamin and Samuel Judson. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Barrett W. Judson.
Bob worked in the heavy equipment business and prior to retirement, became a general contractor. He was a Water Commissioner at the Wilkinsonville Water District for over 50 years. Also, he held various board positions in the Town of Sutton. He was a past member of the Sutton Lions Club.
Bob was an avid golfer that enjoyed playing with his friends locally and in Florida. He belonged to Pleasant Valley Country Club and Blackstone National Golf Club. He looked forward to his fishing trips to Labrador and operating his heavy equipment.
A private funeral was held on December 14, 2018. He was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester Street, North Grafton, MA handled the arrangements.
