DEERFIELD BEACH,FL/GRAFTON: Ernest P. DelleDonne, 92 of Deerfield Beach Florida passed away at his home on Wednesday morning December 5, 2018.
Ernie was born on May 20, 1926 to Ernesto and Evelina (Scalzilli) DelleDonne of Medford Massachusetts. He was one of three children. He attended school in Somerville Ma and graduated from Northeastern University. From 1944 to 1946 he served in the US Navy. He was also the founder of Koral Equipment Company Incorporated of Somerville Ma. Ernie enjoyed golf, the beach, family and friends.
Ernie is survived by his wife of 7 years, Shirley DelleDonne (Bertrand) of Grafton Massachusetts. He is also survived by two children, Linda Montminy and husband Bob of Cornelius NC, Ernest DelleDonne Jr. and his friend Robin Fosher of Eliot Maine, four grandchildren, Alyssa Bartashy of Fort Lauderdale Fl, Jenna Houle of Mooresville NC, Vicki Murray and her husband Brian of Oxford Ct and Christie Pinheiro and her husband Manny of Whitinsville Ma, a step daughter Joellen Vasquez, her husband Louis, daughter Vanessa and son Mathew of Revere Ma. He is also survived by five great grandchildren Kendell, Ethan, Jordan, Mia and Liliana.
He was predeceased by Gloria I. DelleDonne and Jessie DelleDonne, two sisters Lena Scavuzzo and Elda Connolly and his great grandson Marco Pinheiro.
A special thank you to his wife Shirley, his granddaughter Alyssa and Tara Pocius for always being there when he needed him.
All are welcome to gather with Ernie’s family Tuesday December 11th from 5pm to 8pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. North Grafton, MA 01536. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday December 12th at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. North Grafton, MA 01536.
