I am so very sorry to learn of Dick’s passing. I promised that I would send him a book a friend of mine was writing about how animals communicate. I just received my copy and was searching for him in hopes that we could arrange a time to visit. Sadly, my search brought me here. Although the times we shared were brief, they are indelibly marked in my soul. I absolutely loved learning about your place in Maine (he showed me pictures), thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of 5:00 champagne happy hour, played the piano for him, learned about a famous needlepoint designer, and discussed the finer points of religion! He is deeply missed, I’m sure. Thank you for enabling me to meet him.
