SHREWSBURY: Beverly A. (King) Johnson, 82, passed away peacefully at home February 25, 2018 following complications from colon cancer. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ronald Johnson, her siblings Priscilla Malo, Richard E. King, Jr. and his wife Elaine, Barbara Barnes and Sandy Bianco and her husband Rick. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Fred King and sister Muriel Ayres. Beverly was born July 12, 1935 in Worcester, daughter of the late Dorothy (Bodge) and Richard E. King, Sr. Her roots were in North Grafton. For many years she lived in Shrewsbury with her husband Ron. Beverly adored her family, was easily found at a bingo game sometimes three times in the same week and was a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox. All are welcome to gather with Beverly’s family and friends Wednesday February 28th from 9:30am-11:00am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11am in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester.
