SUTTON: Elaine Charlotte (Kuhnel) Bresnahan, 59, of Sutton, MA passed away August 10, 2017 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Daniel Bresnahan, her daughter Catherine Bresnahan, her sister Linda and husband Jim Brinkman, her sister Laura Lavallee, her mother in-law Marilyn Dunn, her brother in-law David Bresnahan and his wife Rona, her sister in-law Dianne Davis, and ten loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Anne and father Alfred Kuhnel.

Elaine was born in Framingham, MA on June 27, 1958. She attended public school in Whitinsville before spending her senior year and graduating in Framingham. She went on to graduate from WITI in Worcester with a degree in mechanical engineering and later studied computer programming at CCRI.

She worked for many years at Jamesbury Corp. (later Neles) in Worcester. She then enjoyed self employment with internet sales. The last several years she found joy in fostering and boarding over 100 different dogs in her home.

Elaine loved to help with Sunday School and events at the Congregational Church in Grafton. Time in her yard, camping, and trips to the Cape or the mountains with her family and friends were some of her favorite pastimes.

She will be remembered most for her sweet and caring nature towards everyone she met.

Elaine's burial service will be held at 9:45am on Saturday, August 19th at Pine Grove Cemetery (241 Linwood Ave, Whitinsville, MA), immediately followed by a 10:30am funeral service at the Grafton Congregational Church (30 Grafton Common, Grafton, MA).
