SUTTON: David S. Shute, 51, died after a brief illness Saturday February 11th at his home. Dave is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sheila M. (Farrell) Shute, and 3 children, Jacqueline A., Annemarie L. and Abigail E. all of Sutton; his mother Helen R. Shute of Grafton, 1 sister, Cheryl MacDonald and husband Ed of Leicester and 2 brothers James F. and his longtime partner Nancy Moultan of Spencer, and Matthew G. of Orlando, Florida; 5 nieces and nephews, Samantha, Tiffany, Christine, Nicholas and Jenna. Dave was born in Worcester, son of Guy P. and Helen R. Shute. He was a Journeyman Carpenter by trade but most recently held a position of Regional Sales Manager. He was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion in Grafton. He loved family vacations to Disney and the Cape. He loved to golf, deep sea fish, and snowmobile. All are welcome to gather with Dave’s family and friends Friday February 17th from 4 to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday February 18th at 11:00am at St. Mark’s Catholic Church 356 Boston Post Road Sutton, MA 01590. All attending the Funeral Mass are politely requested to go directly to the church. Burial will be private at his family’s convenience.
