Alice R. (Noel) Melanson, 101, passed away January 16, 2017. She is survived by her children Joanna Hickory and her longtime companion Robie Robinson and Kenneth Melanson and his wife Sushma, her grandchildren Jennifer Adams and her husband Mark, Sarah Hickory and her fiance' Brian Eaton, Jillian Hickory and Scott Melanson, and her sister Madeline Noel, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Alice was born July 14, 1915 in Allenstown, NH daughter of the late Eva (Emond) and Wilfred Noel. She was the eldest of 8 children. Being close to family and the simpler things in life made Alice happiest. All are welcome to a graveside service Friday January 20th at 11:00am at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Roney Funeral Home in Grafton.
