MILLBURY/GRAFTON: Stacey Anne Morris, a long-standing resident of the Open Sky community, died on Saturday April 24, 2021 from complications from sickle cell anemia. Stacey was born on August 17, 1967 in Boston, MA . Stacey lived at the former Avalon school and Hillcrest Educational Centers in Lenox, MA until being moved to a home in Grafton, MA . She thrived well there. Stacey was then moved to a wonderful home with Open Sky in Millbury, MA. There she was treated with love, kindness and compassion until her final moment. Despite being born with several disabilities, Stacey would make anyone in her presence smile. She was sweet and very loving. She leaves behind many kind and caring people who took care of her over the years. She also leaves behind her guardian, Tracy-jo and Martin Rogers and their family who will miss her. Special thank-you to Tanya Holmes who took special care of her. All are welcome to gather with Stacey’s close circle of friends and caregivers on Monday May 3rd from 9:30-10:30am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 10:30 in the funeral home. Masks are required and social distancing observed. Her burial at Pittsfield Cemetery will follow.
