GRAFTON: Stephen P. Munro, age 77, of South Grafton, Mass., passed away after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy and Alzheimer’s disease, Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of the Beverly (Hamelin) Munro for 34 years. Mr. Munro was born in Providence Rhode Island, a son of the late Ernest and Marion Munro. Mr. Munro served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Estes. Before his retirement, he was employed as an engineer at Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporations, also earning his bachelor’s degree from The University of Rhode Island. Mr. Munro enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his pets and watching movies. He is survived by his two children, Scott Maki & wife Laura, of Brimfield Mass., Todd Maki & wife Candy of Shirley, Mass., three grandchildren, one great grandchild, sisters; Bunny Vargas of Oak Park, CA, Greta Munro of Everett, WA, brothers Richard Munro of Whittier, CA, David Munro, deceased, brother in-law Alan Hamelin of So.
