Obituary for Cynthia Bath

SHREWSBURY: Cynthia Bath died on Thursday, November 8th at her home in Shrewsbury, MA.

Born to Russell Bath & Phyllis (Fallstrom) Bath in Worcester on January 20th, 1956, she graduated from Grafton High School with the class of 1974, and went on to attend Boston University.

For more than 25 years, she ran her own business designing custom pillows with vintage fabrics, especially Fortuny. Her pillows were sought after by interior designers and featured in magazines like House Beautiful, House and Garden, and Architectural Digest. Prior to opening her own business, she was a buyer for The Fair, and traveled to Taiwan frequently on business.

She loved Swedish Fish (and all things Swedish), driving fast cars, eating delicious food, and being a grandparent. She leaves her parents, Phyllis (Fallstrom) Bath of North Grafton and Russell Bath of Shrewsbury, brother Bill Bath of Lakewood, CO, sister Gretchen Bath of Cranston, RI, nephews Andrew and Nicholas Bath, and niece Siri Cosper. She also leaves behind her beloved daughter Jessica Sullivan and son-in-law Adam Tinkle of Saratoga Springs, NY, and her adored grandchildren Alice and Milo Tinkle.

A wake will be held at Roney Funeral Home at 152 Worcester St., North Grafton MA, from 3:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20th. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Ecotarium (ecotarium.org), one of Cindy’s favorite places to bring her daughter, and, years later, her grandchildren.
