Obituary for Margaret A. King

GRAFTON: Margaret (Peg) A. King of Concord Massachusetts passed away on Tuesday 9/25/2018, just after her 90th birthday.
Born and raised in Concord, MA., Margaret attended nursing school until she met the man of her dreams , (Cyril Moses Lewis King) and left nursing to selflessly raise their 5 children. After losing Cyril, at a young age Margaret persevered, and her children surrounded her with 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her family was everything to her as she was to them.
Margaret is survived by her children, Bruce, Barbara, Robert, Deborah, and Scot, their children Stephanie, Jill, Ryan and Erin, Chad and Lindsay, Megan and Katie, and Cassie and Sarah. The great grandchildren Nathan, Lucas, Lilly, Paxton and Remy, Timmy and Grace.
As a teenager Margaret attended Boston Conservatory and with her beautiful voice was often a request to sing at others weddings. She played piano, organ and in recent years she made and played her djembe drum.
She loved to travel and over the years, everywhere her 5 children went she was sure to make a trip to see them. In addition to family and travel, some of her favorite past times were music, gardening, and crocheting.
A graveside internment will be at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord, Mass. at noon time on Friday, 9/28/2018, followed by a gathering at her home, to celebrate her amazing life. If you wish, in lieu of flowers you may make a donation to The American Heart Association at www.Heart.org, the Alzheimer’s Association at www.Alz.org, or more specifically the Salmon Adult Day Health Program 65 Beaumont Drive Northbridge, MA 01534.
