MARLBOROUGH: Zenta (Zeipe) Skinner, 85, passed away May 17, 2018 at Beaumont Nursing and Skilled Rehabilitation Center in Northborough following an illness. Her husband Donald Skinner passed away in 2015. She leaves her sons Steven Skinner and his wife Janice and David Skinner and his wife Lynn, her grandchildren Laura, Matthew, Christopher and Kimberly Skinner and several nieces and nephews. Zenta was predeceased by her brothers Rolands and Talis Zeipe. Zenta was born June 8, 1932 in Latvia, daughter of the late Katarina (Petersen) and Edwards Zeipe. She emigrated to the United States following World War II, lived briefly in Boston where she met her husband Donald before relocating to Hudson, Mass and eventually Marlborough, Mass. She worked for a time as a designer at Apple Valley Florist in Hudson which gave her great joy. Zenta’s family will gather for a private prayer service at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N.
