WORCESTER: Richard P. “Rick” Dyson, 40, passed away at home March 25, 2018 after a brief illness. He is survived by his parents Elizabeth Byrne of Worcester and Frederick Dyson of Melbourne, FL, a brother Dan, a brother James, a niece Chloe and her mother Rachael, Elizabeth’s husband Dennis, step siblings Jami and Alex and several cousins. Rick was born May 2, 1977 in Worcester. He grew up in Grafton where he attended Grafton High School. He was known for his sharp wit, sense of humor and his love of family and friends. He was a self-employed contractor who often worked toward raising money for retired firefighters and police officers. Away from work he loved movies, watching UFC Fighting and playing the guitar. In his memory please honor Rick with a memorial donation to The Animal Rescue League 139 Holden Street, Worcester. Please join Rick’s family and friends on Saturday April 7th from 10am-12pm followed by a prayer service at 12pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536, followed by an informal gathering at the American Legion 69 Worcester Street, Grafton. Burial will be private.
