Grammy "Sunny": She was not just my best friend's grandmother, she was also my grandmother; she was Jon's grandmother, she was the ENTIRE neighborhoods grandmother and ALL of Jon's friends grandmother. Sunny was a true blessing to this world. The thought of her brings pure happiness, tears and joy all at once. She was there for us after school countless days ready for Ellen's ice cream trips, rides in the back of the station wagon, tying Taylor and I together with our hair, pouring buckets of water onto our heads and the carpet, holding my mouth closed so I would swallow my medicine....the memories go on and the lessons go further. Every young girl NEEDS a Sunny in their life. It's and enourmous loss but an even bigger gain to have the pleasure to have spent so much time with you. I truly will miss you and hope you rest in the sweetest of peace. You are loved more than you will ever know.
