Donna L. Plante
DUDLEY: Donna L. (Nordstrom) Plante, 71, passed away January 12, 2018 following complications from a lengthy struggle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Her husband Leo Plante passed away in 2005. Donna is survived by her daughter Cheryl Gurinian and her husband Guy, her grandchildren Amy Ostberg and her husband Marc and Matthew Gurinian and his wife Tanya, her great-grandchildren Tyler and Sydney and her sister June Sears and her husband Thomas along with many nieces and nephews. Donna was one of 9 siblings; her brothers Harry, Jr., Warren, Wayne and Richard Nordstrom and sisters Marilyn Shays, Bernadine St. Germain and Sandra Nordstrom all predeceased her. She also leaves her former husband Paul Lauzon. Donna was born in Worcester February 20, 1946 daughter of the late Pearl (Stidsen) and Harry Nordstrom. For many years she worked as a waitress in several restaurants around central Massachusetts, she was always proud of her Swedish heritage and when she could find the time an occasional trip to try her luck at the casino was a welcome escape. Time with her family was what she prized most. Please honor her memory with a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.Stjude.org.
