Best Dr Ever

I was so upset when I read in the paper yesterday that Dr Darrah had passed. That is not suppose to happen...in patients minds there dr will be there always. I truly missed him when he retired. My memory of Dr Darrah has been and will always be the following. He admited me to the hospital about 9 years ago on a Friday....Come Sunday the decision was made that I needed surgery. I woke up Monday morning with Dr Darrah sitting next to my bed holding my hand he wanted to know how I was. What Dr would even think to do such a kindness.....It meant the world to me. So i write this little memory with tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart. He was truly an awesome person. Your memories of his kindness will give you happiness in time.
