John F. McCabe Jr. 66, MA State Police (Ret), passed July 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 41 years, Deborah M. (Gibbons), four children, Patrick F. McCabe his wife Corinne, their children Michael, Kayleigh and Brayden of Westborough, Meghan E. Remuck, her husband Kevin, their children Melanie and Emily of Millbury, Brendan J. McCabe, his wife Casey, their daughter Annabelle of Stoughton, Colleen R. McCabe, her son Joseph of Grafton. John had a career of 26 years with The MA State Police, retiring in 2000. He also owned and operated McCabe & Associates after retiring. He was born in Boston son of John and Frances (Skelly) McCabe and has lived in Westborough for 41 years. His family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Boston Children’s Hospital, The Jimmy Fund or The Make a Wish Foundation. The funeral will be Tuesday August 1st with family and friends gathering at 10 AM at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. North Grafton to begin a Funeral Procession to St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St. in Westborough to celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 11 AM. He will then be laid to rest at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Westborough. All are invited to calling hours Monday July 31st from 4 to 8 PM at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton.
